I have had a Merrick CC for years now. Opened on 4/22/18. Used it a little. Paid what was owed. Disputed a charge I did not authorize. Never heard back. They told me they would send me a new card w/in 7-10 days on 2/2019...never rcvd. Jump to...7/20/2020....

They suck I closed my account made sure there was no balance with them and they reported that I owed twenty dollars and reported it to the credit people

Called EVERY department of merrick bank for hours today and TWO of the 8 people were helpful to an extent.

The customer service, especially for the credit card sign is absolutely *** They all hung up on us because they couldnt assist us. They were all rude and our conversations were like talking to a brick wall when they did answer or didnt hang up on us.

Paid my Balance off in full

I paid off my card balance in full. I find that Merrick sent my information to a collection agency for more money!

Given wrong information

I called in and was told that my report to the credit bureaus would be done on the 27th of each month when I called back to see why it was not done the young lady told me no its the 21st of each month. I need to have the card reported as paid in full I am trying to take care of a business transaction my card is paid in full can you please report that to the credit reporting agencies ASAP? Also will you inform your people that its Important to give your customers the correct information

Charge off

PIN NUMBER CHANGE

Its stupidly and ridiculous to have to wait 30 days to change your PIN NUMBER from the PIN NUMBER you sent me.

That's their process, so yes you have to wait. People don't jump just cause you say so.

If it's that important you should have asked about their pin process BEFORE you opened your account. Enjoy your wait time!

My security deposit was not applied to my account

I don't know where my money went but it came out of my bank and I need somebody to tell me where my money is or I want my card. I cannot get through to customer service I have emailed with no response there's a customer service number online but nobody answers it so someone please let me know you know what to do I would like to continue to do business with you and use this credit card however I want to know where my money's at

Me están haciendo cobros no autorizados

Mi nombre es nathali Cortez mi numero Es 346364****. Y quiero informar q Primerica me está robando dinero porque la agente q estaba tramitando el proceso para la licencia hizo cobros q. Cuando se efectuaron reclame y Dijo cancelarlos y aun así sin mi consentimiento lo hacen y no tengo porque estar pagando nada pues no tengo ningún servicio con ellos necesito me ayuden a recuperar mi dinero. Y se bloquee por favor ya hablé con ellos y en lugar de brindarme respuestas. Me bloquean y no contestan. Esto se llama abuso por parte de los agentes de esta compañía porque aun diciéndoles no hacen nada solicito su ayuda jurídica por parte del banco. Unaware of hidden fees

I paid off Merrick bank credit card 5 months ago . I found out Two weeks ago , that they were charging me 4$ a mo for a fee I didnt know about after I paid off my balance. The total fee was 13$ owed , and it was 60 days late now they threw me into credit reports and my score went down 40 points for $13 that I didnt Know I owed! I paid the 13$ and now Im fighting to get my score back up !! This is so wrong !! And I want to know if I can do anything about this !!!

Over charged, make and send payment timely bill shows late fees monthly. online HACKED! no connections totally no contacts by phone, online, or email! somethings not right and always send my payment by the 3rd!!

Late payment charges for no reason

i used to have the card for years then i noticed $39 charges for late fees . i always pay the bill once i get it . i looked at my old bills and the $39 was on most of them . i called and closed the account for new charges and only have $500 balance down from $4500 . they blame the post office . but they are the crooks . applying a payment always 2 days after due date so they can charge you the $39 .

User's recommendation: any other credit card company is 100% better than these crooks.
