Illegal Billing Practices

Time for someone to initiate a class action lawsuit against this despicable company! I send my payment in the day I receive the bill, no choice, yet they do not post it for more than two weeks. When I call to question why they haven't posted it, they say it's probably lost in the mail and ask for another payment so that I'm not charged interest or a late fee. Been through this a number of times over the years and can't help but wonder, how much money does Merrick Bank rake in each month by stealing illegal late fees from innocent customers? They need to be held accountable for their crimes.

Dispute

I sent a dispute and received a letter asking for More information pertaining to the dispute. The letter had no fax number nor did it have an address to send the information to. There was no form to fill out nor and return envelope. This bank is extremely unprofessional. Why ask for information to be sent post haste but give no fax number to send e info to?!

Need to Escalate Issue

YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE SAID, I AM NOT ABLE TO USE THE CC UNTIL NOVEMBER, 2020. WHY??? AM I NOT ABLE TO USE MY CARD UNTIL NOV 1, 2020, IF MY MERRICK CC IS PAID UP IN FULL? LEGALLY, I AM NOT IN THE COVID-19 PROGRAM, ONE OWE MERRICK BANK NOTHING, AND MY ACCOUNT SHOULD BE REPORTED IN IN GOOD STANDING TO THE THREE CREDIT AGENCIES. I SHOULD NOT BE HELD HOSTAGE TO A PROGRAM THAT NO LONGER APPLIES TO THE CREDIT CARD (SINCE IT IS PAID IN FULL). WHEN I DID THE RIGHT THING AND PAID IT OFF EARLY, SINCE YOU DISCLOSURES AND FEE SCHEDULE; DOES NOT SPECIFY ANY PREPAID PENALTIES, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. I paid off a old account but it's still popping up on my credit as 85$ remained

I paid off a old credit card with you guys two weeks ago The fee is still sayingHey I owe which I dont it should say amount paid in settlement now it says I owe 85 I need this handle and took off my credit ASAP

I called on time to make an payment via phone for my June statement. I am upset because I wasn't notified until late that the payment didnt process and I was supposed to receive a doubled credit line this month 6.22.2020. I called customer service and she explained when I paid over the phone I missed 1 number and thats why it didn't draft. I would like my credit line fixed as this was no fault of my own. I did not recieve the doubled line yesterday due to this one months mishap.

Covid 19 relief program

Im under the covid-19 relief program with Merrick bank credit card. They charge $3 for having a card and continues to add monthly interests $31 on the account. My other credit card companies refunds the interests charges and theres no $3 charge to have a card. Time to pay this one off and get rid of it.

They owe me $700 plus dollars

For the third time my card was hacked with over $3000 in charges. They credited my account but when the new card was issued there was $700 dollars that should have been credited and they auto deducted it from my account. Now there is a $700 plus credit and they won’t refund it to me. We have been calling for approx 3 weeks, and now they say they are investigating it....this is a terrible bank, credit card company. And....most of the people who we spoke with had NO CLUE

Use the card FICO score drops instantly. Pay big amount it takes 2 months to show on credit report . Horrible service

I have auto payments set up I used the card and effected my credit score instantly couldnt purchase a car because of it . Now in the middle of COVID19 pandemic they lowered my score again which auto pay isnt due til the end of the month . Time to cut ties with this company I dont recommend it to anyone

Middle finger up for Merrick bank...They are full of *** And there customer service needs more training they don't understand what your saying and they have really bad attitude this company sucks them.. They railroaded me now I guess I return the favor..

It don't matter to me I have a home that's paid for and a car that's paid for and plenty change cards to choose from when needed...

So I say Merrick bank card all this company did was stress me out every week good riddance.. so much happier again..

I also had an account with Merrick Bank and they closed my account without my knowledge m.. I called and they are Definitely are not willing to help, as a gentleman stated it was very easy to obtain the account, I missed several payments due to hardship and then I paid but my account is closed..

what I’m not willing to do is beg Merrick to reopen my account!

It’s a lot of misunderstanding, I will jus pay them the remaining balance, to keep my credit good, Learned lesson! And their Customer Service is Horrible...

You charging people 40 dollars so fast
